Maybe u didn't see my report from last night, but I was the long hair in the front left taking notes at the summit. I spoke with the mayor afterwards as well.

So yes we had representation from transition with it sounds like at least 2 of us. There were many folks there who support advancing a sustanable regional lifestyle. You were amongst sheep in wolves clothing. We are many and part of the fold.

Glad to see u there

This is your Dutch Uncle:  While I am delighted to hear of the joy occasioned by last night's regular meeting...  My friends, while that occurred, I was one of the interested citizens, and I think the only person present who believes in Transition and what it can accomplish, attending the Economic Development panel hosted by the Northfield NDEA.
If we, and I still count myself as a Transitioner, do not attend the meetings focusing on the future of Northfield, we loose out on the opportunity for input, for making sure the eventual plans include at least some of the elements we think are required for any real, sustainable, resilient future,
There will be other opportunities; let us take advantage of them.   Thanks for listening,    peace and love,   Bob (your friendly neighborhood Dutch Uncle...)

I would like to second Christine's sentiment about the fun factor of last nights meeting!...and how good it feels to have a plan for working well together. Renewed optimisim is a better buzz than beer if you ask me! (although the beer buzz is fun too :-)
Thanks to all for making it work and sticking together. Let's remember, having fun is in our agreements...we were just doing the right thing!!

Let's enjoy this FABULOUS weather out there!

Hello Friends!!!!!!!!!
Thank you ever so much for indulging me with meeting at the Tavern instead of Arcadia. As most of you know, I only get out a few times a year, so your spontaneous change was very appreciated. I had so much fun--I hope you all did, too.  Our meeting was so successful and I feel really happy that we have come up with a nice process for conflict resolution and a plan for upholding our group agreements.  Yes! We did it!

Can't wait to see you all again!
