Dear Transition Northfielders,You may be interested in this Permaculture workday happening in Northfield:
Well, we are quite late in announcing this, but we are still planning to hold a Permaculture work and learn day in Northfield this Saturday, July 17. At this workday we will talk about some of the Permaculture principles that went into the design for this part-shade, part-sun, in- town backyard and then we will do some hands-on work to start implementing the design.
The workday is being organized by the Northfield Permaculture Guild and led by Paul Sebby and Joe Gransee-Bowman. We have given a number of Permaculture talks around Northfield and led an "Introduction to Permaculture" workshop here in May.
The workday will begin promptly at 9:00 am and end by 4:00 pm. Pre- registration is required for this event; there is a sliding scale fee of $15 to $60; does not include lunch. Pay toward the upper end of the scale to support this and other Permaculture events; pay toward the lower end of the scale if that's what works for your budget.
To register for this event, please email NorthfieldPermacultureGuild [at] gmail.com to hold your space and we'll get back to you with payment information, etc. (You can also send questions to that email address.)
We hope to see you there! Paul Sebby Joe Gransee-Bowman
