I would like to place a topic on the initiating group agenda.  However, I will 
not be at the next meeting.  If you want to discuss it this time, that is OK 
with me.  If you want to wait until I am at the meeting that is OK too.  I 
think we may want to spend a fair amount of time on it.
How to phrase it - perhaps -- something about more clearly defining the 
relationship between committee work and the initiating group.
