Northfield News: first blog post

At our last Initiating Group meeting, there was a question about whether the Northfield News would edit our blog posts. I checked with Suzy Rook and she assured me they would not edit them, they only reserve the right not to post an entry at all. (I assume they might not post something if it was offensive in some way, but I doubt that would ever be a problem.)

So, I sent her our first blog post and it's up on the Northfield News site! It's not available from any of the menus at the top of the page; you have to scroll down the front page of the web site to the "Community Blogs" section where there are two blogs available: one for the Police Dept. and one for Transition!

Our first post just has brief info about the upcoming film series and our vision and mission statements, as well as a pointer to our own web site. I'll bring a signup sheet to Saturday's meeting so people can sign up to write a weekly (approximately) blog post.

Their blogging software seems to run everything together into one big paragraph, so these posts will work best if they are short and to the point.
