Hi all:

We agreed to move the January soup supper from the 1st to the 8th. 6 pm at 
Karen's house. This month's topic will be a round-up and further discussion 
regarding permaculture. Toby Hemenway, permaculture activist/educator and 
author of Gaia's Garden will be in Minneapolis Thursday-Saturday of that week. 
He is giving classes all day Friday and Saturday, and a public talk Thursday 
night that several of us are riding up for. (If you want to do that contact 
Angel ASAP.)

So, Friday's discussion will focus on what we heard, what we think about that, 
and badda-bing!! what we plan to do with what we learned. Heads up, we have met 
with a local banker to explore local economy ideas. He will be invited to the 
February soup supper--I'll let you know what happens.
