At the last steering committee meeting:

- We found out that a number of us could not meet on our next  
scheduled meeting day, the 22nd, so we decided to move the next  
meeting to SUNDAY August 23rd at Karen's house.

- We worked on defining our process for discussion and modification of  
proposals.

At the next meeting, we'll talk about the proposal approval process.
