Hi, Transitioners,

First, here's a link to a talk about Transition (with slides and text)  
that Rob Hopkins is going to give before a distinguished audience in  
the UK tomorrow... I've read through parts of it and it looks very good.

Second, a reminder that our meeting at 9 am this Saturday is at Karen  
Olson's house.

Third, I wanted to mention that Sam Gett, editor of the Northfield  
News, contacted me and offered to give our Transition group a blog  
space on the News web site.  I said that I thought that would be a  
good public communication tool but we aren't quite ready to make  
announcements about events yet, but probably before too long.  He said  
that was fine -- whenever we are ready we can talk with him.  Sounds  
like a good vehicle for awareness raising, so we should keep that in  
mind.
