Greetings Transition Northfield!
Below and attached is a SAVE THE DATE blurb that is going into the Just Food
Coop's newsletter next month (thanks to Karen for writing it up!) I have
posted this on the Transition Initiative websites (US and MN) and have cc'd
our trainers (Becky & Bill)!

PLEASE FORWARD THIS INFORMATION ON TO EVERYONE YOU THINK WOULD HAVE AN
INTEREST! Some ideas: city council members, Northfield organizations and
groups involved with energy, food, permaculture, etc. issues, the colleges,
friends, neighbors, co-workers, acquaintances, to organizations and leaders
in Northfield, Minnesota, the Midwest, put in on the internet (ex/
Facebook).
Thanks!
Christine S.

SAVE THE DATE! SAVE THE DATE! SAVE THE DATE!

TRANSITION TRAINING COMES TO MINNESOTA!

Transition Northfield, a small collection of motivated individuals, has come
together to ask:
For all those aspects of life that our community needs in order to sustain
itself and thrive, how do we significantly increase resilience (in response
to peak oil), drastically reduce carbon emissions (in response to climate
change) and greatly strengthen our local economy (in response to economic
instability)?

The Transition Movement is a vibrant, international grassroots movement that
seeks to build community resilience in the face of such challenges as peak
oil, climate change and the economic crisis. It represents one of the most
promising ways of engaging people in strengthening their communities
against the effects of these challenges, resulting in a life that is more
abundant, fulfilling, equitable and socially connected.
Transition Northfield is delighted to announce a weekend training workshop
