Greetings Northfield Transition Pioneers, (thanks Christine for the very apt
title)

A Couple of things have come up regarding our next meeting that I need your
thoughts on.

I got a call from the co-op asking how many people we are expecting at our
meeting. Apparently there is another group that needs a large space, and
they were wondering if we might be able to make alternate arrangements if we
didn't really need a room that size. I don't know if we have a handle on the
exact numbers, but I am pretty certain we don't need that large room. I have
an extendable dining room table that seats 12-15 and a good sized kitchen,
and I would be happy to host. I can also look into the meeting room at the
library, but it's probably a long shot this late in the game. I told Alex it
would probably be okay, but please let me know what you think.

Next, I have had a couple of discussions with the folks in Illinois, and
they are having another training the first part of April. I was thinking
that if there were others in our group that would like to go to one of
these, maybe it would be wiser to wait, and more of us could go together
then. That would still be really good timing for our group. Rebecca, the
woman I have been speaking with, just returned from leading workshops, and
getting together with other trainers out in Boulder. She is fresh with news
and ideas from all the start up initiatives out there. Sounds REALLY
exciting!! MJ and I are committed to getting to one of these, and are kind
of cramming this in, so if waiting till April means others could go, I would
be happy to wait. I have paid a deposit, but they will save it till April
for me. PLEASE let me know if you are interested in going in April. Thanks!

Lastly, I wanted to confirm the date for a brief planning session before our
March 14th meeting. It sounded like Wednesday, March 4th could work. We
could meet at my house from 7:00-8:00. Please weigh in on that too!
